Technical Services and Development

As part of our client orientation strategy, the Chemicals Division of Repsol has a Technical Service and Development Centre located in Madrid to cater its Polyolefins and Intermediate businesses. 

The main functions of our TSD are as follows:

• To offer technical advice to our customers, such as sales support
• Joint development of new products with clients who should require it
• To maintain product quality and competitiveness
• To continuously define and upgrade technical specifications
• To detect market needs and demands 
• To locate and build new markets and clients by developing new products and constantly improving existing ones
• To provide training courses for our own staff and clients
• To participate and collaborate with national and international institutions and organisations whether public or private, in our sphere of activity

A strong commitment to technology has provided Repsol with a competitive advantage, amongst others, in areas like propylene oxide/styrene coproduction, polyols, hydrogenated rubber and agricultural plastics, based on proprietary technology and know-how. As further proof of this commitment, Repsol has a Technology Centre that brings together all Research, Development, and Technical Service activities in a permanent quest for excellence in innovation and product processing.
