The Repsol refinery is in the Escombreras valley, 10 km. from Cartagena and 4 km. from the harbour. It stands on land belonging to the municipality of Cartagena and Comunidad Autónoma de la Región de Murcia.

Pipelines

The refinery is linked by pipelines to the berths in the harbour, to the nearby terminal of CLH (Alumbres and Alicante) and, via the latter, to the main Spanish network of oil pipelines. It also has direct crude oil pipeline to the Refinery of Repsol in Puertollano (near Madrid).

Storage facilities

Raw material and product storage facilities comprise 25 crude oil tanks, and over 75 intermediate and finished product tanks at the refinery and the terminals.
