1. General information.
La Coruña Harbour is situated o the NW of the Peninsula Iberica. Masters are kindly advised to refer to the B.A. Sailing Directions nr. 67 and the B.A. Chart nr. 1114, before entering the harbour.
2. Pilotage
Licensed Pilots are available on a 24-hour basis, 365 days per year. Pilot station operates on VHF CH. 12. All vessels are requested to contact La Coruña Traffic Control (VHF CH. 10) 2 hours before arrival at the rendezvous position.
3.Maximum Draft
The Port Captain (Capitanía Marítima) limits the maximum draft of tankers entering the harbour to 15.5 m.and will notify when a vessel should wait for H.W. to proceed inwards.
4. Tugboats
Four tugboats are available to provide towage services for manouvering. The main particulars of the tugs are shown on Chapter Miscellanea. Pilot will determine the number of tugs and lines to be used according to the Port Captain instructions and weather conditions.

6. Mooring
All ships are request to drop the seaside anchor and pay out a quarter buoy line
